CEA CAPA Education Abroad in Seville, Spain

I had an incredible experience going abroad with CEA CAPA. In the beginning stages, I was assigned an advisor that helped guide me through getting my Visa and any other questions that I had before going abroad. While I was there, I took classes at a local university as well as the CEA center. If I ever had a question or concern about my classes, their were advisors onsite that would help me with anything I needed. The excursions that we went on with CEA were well planned and very enjoyable. I had a great time going abroad with CEA CAPA and I highly recommend this program!

My time in Seville with CEA CAPA was the best experience of my life! I was hesitant about going abroad, as I had never been to Europe and was slightly nervous to go overseas alone. The pre-departure process was extremely smooth, and the CEA CAPA team checked in weekly to make sure I had been doing all of the necessary things! Once I arrived at the airport, I was picked up and taken to another group of students. These other students became some of my best friends on the trip, and I can thank CEA CAPA for this. Throughout my experience, I learned so much about not only Spain and my coursework, but also about myself! It truly was an essential time of independence, and I would not trade it for anything.

Studying abroad in Seville changed the way I view life and myself. I cannot imagine the person I would be without this experience. I learned so much from my professors, students, peers and locals. I found a community in Seville. CEA Seville Staff were supportive at each step and were open to answer any questions. As a Spanish bilingual speaker it was beautiful to explore a new culture and community. I learned something new every day and found my love for photography and videography in a new light! I am grateful to have found this program that extended my perspective!

CEA Seville was the most incredible experience I could have asked for. CEA provided me with all of the materials to make my experience however I wanted it to be. I felt a strong connection with the community, made some incredible lifelong friends, was able to travel on the weekends, got to practice my Spanish, and so much more. The classes I took were perfect for my program. I also had the privilege of living with a host mom which was an incredible experience. Seville was the most perfect study abroad city and I am so glad I made the decision to go there.

I lived in a host family's apartment in Los Remedios. This was a totally immersive experience and I have CEA to thank for it. I was in the Advanced Spanish Language and Culture in Seville Program, and took international business at the CEA study center along with 4 courses at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spanish linguistics, culture and translation. I was within walking distance from all of the wonder Sevilla had to offer and the excursions and support the CEA site staff support is unparalleled

I simply cannot imagine a more hospitable city or program for a study abroad student. Seville is full of narrow streets in quaint neighborhoods, breathtaking landmarks, sprawling parks, and bustling areas of young locals and international students. When not exploring or eating affordable, delicious food, courses are taken at various institutions with tons of options for subjects. The CEA study center is situated ideally in the city, as are the comfortable living options. Every day, I looked forward to seeing all of my professors and the staff at CEA; they were an excellent, helpful, and talented team! I always felt safe and supported. I more than highly recommend this program and location - take me back!

I studied abroad with CEA in Seville, Spain in fall 2019. Having never even been outside the country before, I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but this program exceeded my every expectation. The staff is so supportive and really takes the time to get to know students. Academics were very relevant to local life in Seville as well as my major (strategic communication) and minors (Spanish & video). I visited so many cool places and emerged with new friends & a broadened perspective of the world!!!

CEA Study Abroad is an incredible company. The whole process - from applying to the program, to arriving and finally leaving - was seamless. The staff is incredibly supportive, helpful and kind. The building was beautiful, and in an incredible location near the center of the city. My classes at CEA we’re both interesting and reasonable. I felt like I learned loads of useful information in them, but I never felt overwhelmed with school work. I felt safe and supported during my entire stay in Spain. Thanks CEA!
