About Program
International work experience is more important than ever and one of the best ways to make the leap into working and living overseas is by completing an internship abroad. TEAN offers summer and semester internships for academic credit in leading cities throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia including Sydney, Auckland, Shanghai and Singapore.
TEAN’s expert Internship Team handles all the details, organizing a customized full-time internship placement that fits your interests and professional goals while also helping you get settled in your new host country and culture with included accommodation, activities, excursions and more. Depending on your needs, you can also study and intern at the same time in certain destinations. Placements are available in any industry – from communications to environmental conservation, finance to sports medicine – to kick off your professional career while still having a ton of fun in the process!

TEAN works to connect students with highly relevant placements in every trade including finance, environmental conservation, and sports medicine. While Sydney is a popular destination as an international business hub, other cities throughout the country also provide a variety of internships suited to meet nearly every degree or interest.
New Zealand, inventor of the bungee jump and home to the largest geothermal power source, is the first country to give women the right to vote. TEAN works to connect students with highly relevant placements in every trade including engineering, ecotourism, agriculture, sustainability and social justice. While Auckland is a popular destination as a business hub, other cities throughout the country also provide a variety of internships suited to meet nearly every degree or interest.
Scholarships
TEAN by WorldStrides Diversity Scholarship
This scholarship is offered for summer and semester programs and is intended for students with identities historically underserved in education abroad. This can include, but is not limited to, individuals who identify as African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, Alaskan Native, American Indian, Native Hawaiian, LGBTQIA+, First-Generation College Students, U.S. Military Veterans, students with disabilities, and/or students at Minority-Serving Institutions.
