About Program

We have placed teachers in Korea since 2007 with zero complaints because we at T.E.I.K. (Teach English in Korea) are a husband-and-wife team who have taught, lived, and worked in Korea as ESL teachers and government officials. We pride ourselves on being a boutique recruitment agency that is always focused on our teachers getting the best job opportunity that fits the teacher's qualifications, experience, and preferences.

We are a very laid-back, low-pressure, expat-owned, and run agency. We also live by the motto, “No B.S., No Drama.” If you are not 100% certain that you feel that you would be a great candidate to teach English in Korea, then don't waste both of our time. We only want to work with caring and honest individuals who have an adventurous spirit, love to travel, and meet new people. We will assist with gathering visa documents, the visa process, placement, arrival to Korea, and continued support during your full year in Korea.

Impressed and Grateful!

I was highly impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness that TEIK (Bradley) provided to me during the hiring process. My recruiters, Bradley and Yumi, were responsive and friendly in all my communications with them. Even receiving loads of help from them, I still found the process a bit confusing, but they gave me detailed blog posts for the visa process and how to get my documents apostille notarized in just a few days. I'm unsure how I would have navigated the visa process and gotten my docs in order. I am thankful for his help and patience in answering my many questions!

I highly recommend TEIK recruitment services to anyone looking to teach in Korea. They genuinely believe in their no BS and no drama policy. I've been in Korea for several months and love my school, my students, and the area I live in. The housing photos they gave me helped me to picture myself here and living/working in Korea. Thank you!!

Pros
  • City View!
  • FOOD :)

Best support and great help with the visa process!

I've been working with TEIK for a few months, and it's been such an easy and stress-free process! It was awesome to have one person dedicated to helping me from start to finish through the process. Mr. Brennan has always provided fast and thorough responses, often anticipating questions and sending me links to his blogs were great assistance and detailed. He set up multiple interviews for me to be able to compare different jobs in the areas I was interested in. He provided all the information about the position, housing photos, and a current teacher's email address to ask them questions after a school offered me a contract. After I accepted a job, I was given step-by-step assistance, and they walked me through the entire visa process and sent over a packet to help me with the move. They also helped me make the flight arrangements and gave me detailed arrival instructions. Everything has been very organized and easy. TEIK removed all my stress about starting this new adventure in Korea. I can't recommend them enough!
I look forward to attending the TEIK-hosted networking dinner in October to meet the other Fall teachers!

Pros
  • Fast response time

I highly recommend this program and Korea!

As someone who taught in Korea using the services of Teachenglishinkorea, I can say that I had an amazing experience. I had a lot of fun and met great people, and although I did get homesick at times, I really love Korea. Of course, I missed my dog, my boyfriend, and baked foods covered with cheese, but other than that, I was doing just fine. I loved my school, and the kids were so cute! I want to thank Brad for all that he did to make this experience of a lifetime possible. Overall, I would highly recommend Teachenglishinkorea to anyone who wants to teach in Korea and have a unique and rewarding experience.

Thank you, Bradley and Yumi, for helping me come to Korea.

Hey Brad! All is fantastic in Seoul. I am situated at a Kindergarten school on the east of Seoul just below the Han River. Teaching young children is a delight and immensely rewarding. While there can be challenges, it is generally a wonderfully fun experience and all part of the adventure. I teach three classes throughout a typical workday. The environment and organization of my school are great! The school design resembles something out of Disney World or Alice in Wonderland and it is the perfect environment for small children.

Additionally, my school is newly constructed so everything is neat and clean. Resources and materials are also fantastic, making teaching much easier. The curriculum from iSponge is awesome; lessons are detailed and well laid out. Generally, workdays are fluid and relatively low-stress. I am so happy where I teach! Seoul itself is a fantastic place to be. The city seems to have a pulse with energy and life that is easy to identify with. People are friendly and there is never a shortage of things to see and do. Admittedly the food was hard for me to get used to initially, I have now found my footing and have several local restaurants I'm accustomed to visiting often. One of my greatest surprises was how clean the city was, especially the subway. The subway is simply an engineering marvel and is one of my favorite aspects of Seoul. The city is great and there is always something going on. New York may be the city that never sleeps but Seoul is the city that never stops. Thank you for your dedicated services to get me to this country. I was thoroughly impressed with your hard work, dedication, and approachability. I've heard many troubling statements about the process to get here and it was comforting to know I was in good hands with your services. I would recommend you to anyone interested in teaching in Korea. Thanks again for all your hard work!

I don’t want to go home!

Hey Brad.

It's definitely been an adjustment process. but I think we're done walking around with our mouths open amazed at our surroundings and trying to recover from jetlag. Thank you so much for this opportunity and for placing Phil and me! The school has been treating us very well. I'm in kindergarten and Phil is upstairs teaching the older kids.
Since we have such different schedules, they've agreed to put us in separate apartments, which is great for us. Actually, the assistant director is taking us out to Costco tonight in Seoul so we can get stocked on the necessities...cool lady. The whole staff has been wonderful in showing us around and making sure me feel comfortable and at home.

Talk soon bro! Pat Brown, Bucheon City, Gyeonggido

Pros
  • COSTCO, Homeplus
  • Emart
  • Korean street-food
Cons
  • Soju is cheap and everywhere…lol

Exploring Korea one weekend at a time.

Hey Brad

Thanks so much for setting Leela and me up here in Nonhyun dong, Incheon. It is really nice to be here and we have settled in very nicely. We have a wonderful little apartment which is working out just fine. There is a nice gym that we joined right nearby, which is perfect for the winter times. Our director is a very nice guy, and we are really enjoying the work. Working with the kids is the most rewarding aspect of our work. The students are fun and it is nice to work with a smile on my face. The neighborhood is very fun to explore, and there are also some nice native teachers working at a school close to ours. You have been so helpful throughout this whole process, both before and during. I look forward to meeting up with you next time you come to Incheon.

Thanks Brad,
Rob C.

Pros
