About Program
Situated in the stunning island paradise of Pulau Kecil in the Perhentians, this project centres its efforts on mapping out corals and seagrass beds in the region - which has not been done until now.
The marine ecosystem here faces huge pressures, but there is not enough ecological data available to know how to best preserve the area. As a volunteer here, you will help to conduct this scientific research beneath the waves in a kaleidoscopic marine paradise, where you will encounter sharks, rays, turtles and countless tropical fish! You will also assist in reef and beach cleans to help reduce ocean pollution, as well as educating the local community on the importance of conserving this stunning location and its underwater residents.
You will wake each day to tropical sights and sounds, in your accommodation situated in an authentic fishing village. Words cannot justify the marine life waiting to be discovered here, so why not come and see for yourself?
