About Program
Take a trip this summer that you will never forget. The California: San Diego Service Adventure program is open to teens ages 14-19 and is designed for those with a passion for Environmental Stewardship and Public Health & Medicine. Participate in community service projects focused on health care and the environment, in particular San Diego clean waterway and healthy canyon initiatives. You will also kayak in La Jolla Cove, known as “California’s Jewel," and explore this marine-protected area. Wildlife will be everywhere around you - rare for a city-based experience! Think: sea lions sunbathing on stunning rock formations. With a little luck you might spot sea turtles or leopard sharks! Take a tour of this amazing city and see why San Diego is known as America's Finest City.
