Lankey: Learn French in Morocco

I had wanted to go to Morocco for years and when I was finally given the opportunity, I wanted to explore the depth of the country in an environment that was safer than traveling alone and gave me the benefits of a group. This program met all of my expectations and surpassed them. Each day is filled with group activities and the chance to explore individually, so you can make friends but also give yourself a chance to grow outside of the group. Our leader was amazing, she was always fun and filled with excitement about our tour, and inspired me to keep traveling. I cannot believe we spent an entire month over there, we did so much. Each day was amazing, and I constantly reference my time with Lankey when people ask how my journey abroad was. This program is perfect for those who wish to grow and explore, for it gives you all the opportunities to do so, while making friends, and learning in-depth about a new culture.
Also good to mention the French immersion Program experience. it was perfect. I've procrastinated for months to learn French on my own but, with Lankey, I was able to improve my level in a short time. The teacher, courses, and conversations were way too better than I expected. I went to my classes with enthusiasm and my teacher has a big impact on it. when I came back home, my friends and family got surprised about my French level.
If you want to have a great experience that you will remember for the rest of your life I cannot give a higher recommendation than Lankey. with this program I was able to do it all: learning, traveling, having fun, tasting new food, discovering a new culture, and many more. hope you will get to experience them too.

We were recommended the Lankey program by a friend who did their 15-day trip in 2018, and it was a fantastic suggestion. Very knowledgeable guides who did everything to ensure we had a great experience. The accommodation was satisfactory at each of the stops – but the real star is Morocco itself. Every day we were blown away by how beautiful its places are and how different they looked to one another. Highlights for us were the Atlas waterfalls and the Sahara Desert nights. Even my friend went only for trips, I decided to make my experience with Lankey more knowledgeable and I try to learn French, which I didn't regret at all. I went for classes in The morning and excursions for the rest of the day. I didn't feel bored at all or tired from classes, instead, I was so happy to wake up and take them, my teacher motivates me every day to work even more. Overall, I do recommend this program to everyone. I am sure they are flexible and you will find what interests you the most. Unfortunately, the current situation (Covid-19 pandemic) prevents me to visit Morocco with Lankey this summer, but I will do it once it's over.

This program is definitely a one-time life experience. It was perfect in every possible way! The staff is so professional in their work, organized, helpful, and fun! You get the chance to travel to 7 different cities, each better than the other. Each city brings something different which made me so curious to explore even more. Marrakesh was my number one destination: I tasted Tanjia which is a special meal in Marrakesh and I am in love with it. also, it has its own traditional ambiance in Jemaa el Fna and that immerse you more with the culture. there are so many other beautiful cities: Tangier, Casablanca, and Merzouga, etc. Apart from that, my learning journey was absolutely interesting. I chose to learn French and I am so happy to do it with Lankey. My teacher was so patient with me. when I come back home, everyone noticed how my french level improved. I can say words without feeling unconfident and I can listen to short stories and understand them.
I loved the experience, I got to make friends whom I still talk to and hang out with. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, YOU HAVE TO GO! You won't regret it a tiny bit. Be ready to experience the best trip of your life. Be open to learning about new traditions and language3666. Be ready to meet different people. Be ready to tell your family and friends about it!!! I would suggest bringing a friend with you so that you have a great company that you both will remember the rest of your life, but at the same time, branching out and meeting new people is definitely a plus.

I applied to this program earlier this year and confirmed my spot for the summer 2020 session. I was supposed to go this summer but regarding the travel bans and borders being closed until further notice, the Lankey team were very nice they pushed the program dates that I wanted instead of this summer they offered winter 2020, spring or summer 2021 I really appreciate how flexible they are and I can’t wait to join this program. My confirmation deposit allowed me to save my spot for the coming sessions since I'm not sure borders would open this summer. I feel very lucky I chose this exact program because they are very flexible with start dates and the length of the program!

I’ve always wanted to go studying and exploring at the same time, and the French program with Lankey has allowed me to experience multiple major cities without the stress of organizing the trip myself, as well as improve my french skills during summer. Our leaders were a great pair and were fun and professional. I always felt that they could be relied upon, and were on hand to help with any concerns or questions we had.
Our tours were very enjoyable, allowing us to see the main tourist attractions whilst also getting a feel for the city. We also had subsequent ‘free time’ which was very flexible. I have countless amazing memories, yet the spontaneous trip was to see the colors of the city of Chefchaouen definitely is something that I remember for a long, long time!
My French Classes with Lankey were definitely interesting and helpful. I didn't even feel the time passing during the classes. The Teacher was super kind. I always saw a smile on his face. in General, he did a great job to help improve my language skills.
it was very hard to find a program that will offer both great trips and helpful classes, and I would say that I am really thankful to find Lankey Program and be part of it.
Overall, I think that this program is a fantastic travel opportunity, and I would highly recommend it.

My decision to go to Morocco was very spontaneous, and it ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made! I wanted to experience other cultures, meet friends from around the world, gain perspective away from my little bubble at home, and Learning Arabic. All of that was achieved and more! Genuinely, from the moment I stepped off the plane and met up with a few of the participants, I knew I was in the right place and that I was going to have a couple of very transformative weeks.
One of my favorite places was the Hassan II Mosque. It really represents Moroccan Architecture and culture, and the Jamae El Fna in Marrakesh is a great place to be in. Honestly, it is challenging to see all those beautiful places in weeks but thanks to Lankey organization I was able to visit more than 5 cities and totally exploring them.  I also loved the gorgeous scenery of the Mountains, the beaches of Assilah, and the waterfalls. Indeed, I lived in a beautiful Apartment in Rabat. I liked how everything I needed was next to me and I was able to walk safely without feeling uncomfortable.
For the language Program, my Arabic teacher was very kind and generous with me. She tried her best to make me learn without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to her efforts, my Arabic improves and, now, I can listen and write much more easier. Hope to come back until I will be fluent in Arabic.
If you are on the fence, you should do the program!! You will have the best time and make memories you will never ever forget.  

This trip was absolutely amazing! I had so much fun! The sightseeing and traveling were amazing of course, but more than that I fell in love with the many cultures, the people and our group! As a group, you get so close to one another and we had some real bonding experiences plus you get to travel and see amazing things with these amazing people. We went to different cities and made unforgettable memories of each one. we tasted Moroccan food for the first time together, and it tastes amazing couldn't stop eating. We, also, experienced the nights under the stars and real talks. Definitely go on this trip if you have the chance you will have a lot of fun and learning.

Awesome Tour, great activities mixed with enough time to chill. I had so many good experiences and the tour guides have been soo friendly.
I would count them as new friends and it is sad to leave them because we had so much fun together. From the arrival at the airport till the end of the tour they were so helpful if there have been questions or problems. I felt very safe with them and recommend them to everyone!
During my stay, My Arabic language skills improved drastically. I arrived in Morocco with no Arabic knowledge and thanks to Lankey Arabic Program now I can read and say basic words in Arabic. The Lankey teachers are so patient and helped me with all the ways just to make things easier and make me comfortable learning it.
After three weeks, it feels like traveling with a family! The activities have been well balanced between culture, action, and chilltime. In the action parts sometimes I had to come out of my comfort zone but I’m fine because that was the goal for that journey! My highlights have been the night at the Sahara desert, the waterfall views, the beach days, and also the traditional spots in Marrakesh and North Morocco.
I would do this trip another time!
