Volunteer in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

About

Located in the southern Caribbean, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is the perfect location volunteers of all ages. Surrounded by mountainous and volcanic scenery, waterfalls, and crystal clear beaches, participants can enjoy a laid back Caribbean lifestyle while working on projects that directly help the community.

Spend anywhere from one to six months volunteering in this tropical paradise to get hands-on experience in areas including environmental studies, global warming, sustainable agriculture, farming, and renewable energy.

Project Types

Environmental Cleanup

Combat global climate change by helping to restore the natural landscape that often gets ruined by the damage caused by hurricanes and other natural disasters. Some projects include cleaning beaches and rivers, planting trees, and setting up gardens.

Volunteer on a Farm

What better way to promote sustainability than helping out local farmers? Participants can learn about water harvesting, chicken production, and other types of organic farming techniques.

Work with Children

Teach children about the impact that global warming is having on their surrounding environment. Help to make their communities better by talking about ways to help the planet, through planting trees and setting up recycling centers.

Create an Independent Project

Have an idea to help combat global warming? Work with local volunteers and staff at NGOs to implement your own sustainability project.
